REPULSOR POWER IRON MAN Mk. VI [IRON MAN: THE ARMORED AVENGER]

Around the time when the Iron Man 2 (2010) movie was showing I decided that it was time I picked up an Iron Man figure. While I'm not an enthusiast of Hot Toys, I picked up this figure from Hasbro instead.

This figure stands at about 10 inch tall, slightly shorter than your typical 1 foot Hot Toys figure. From the back, you can see the exposed screw holes however from the front, Iron Man Mk.VI looks just great.

A closer look at the head sculpt.

This figure comes with a mechanical arm for display purposes.

With only 11 points of articulation, there isn't a lot of poses that you can do with this toy. A word of advise regarding the joints though. Somehow or rather, the paint coating on this toy makes the joints very tight over a long period of time if you don't move this figure. Thus be careful when twisting the joints if you've not touched this toy for some time, just in case you break the limbs by accident.

Here's a couple more shots of Iron Man & War Machine in the infamous scene from the Iron Man 2 movie.

Even though the joints can be a little tight at times, I'd still give this toy a thumbs up if you're not into Hot Toys but would like to have an Iron Man figure for display in your cabinet.

REPULSOR POWER WAR MACHINE

[IRON MAN: THE ARMORED AVENGER]

This is the 10" Repulsor Power War Machine by Hasbro, not the Hot Toys version. When you press the button at the middle of the chest, only the chest lights up in glowing pink. At the same time, War Machine also utters a couple of battle quotes.

War Machine stands very steadily, which is actually one of the major issue here. He has very limited articulation.

Here's a close up of the upper body.

Let's have a look at putting on some additional firepower. You can clip on the shoulder gatling gun & mini rocket launchers onto each side of the shoulder. The ammunition for the gatling gun connects to the back of War Machine. Both weapons can be moved around.

In addition, this set also comes with two huge artillery weapons that can be hooked up onto each of the arms. Both these arm weapons can fire a small plastic projectile. In this mode, War Machine looks like he really is overloaded with weapons.

This is how War Machine looks like standing back to back with Repulsor Power Iron Man Mk. VI as the take out a huge force of enemies surrounding them.
