CABLE

Let's have a look at the Marvel universe for a change.

This is Cable, from the X-Men comic series. The toy comes from the Marvel Legends, Series 6 line.

Being one of the few early Marvel Legends toy that I own, I've always been impressed with the amount of flexibility & articulation points that this toy line has.

Here taking a look at Cable with his upper vest. As I'm doing this review, somehow or rather Cable remind me of 'Major Chip Hazzard' from the stop-motion movie Small Soldiers.

Here's Cable hover bike. When displayed, the transparent stand give the impression that the bike is actually floating. The base of the stand has shown signs of yellowing as compared to when I first purchased this toy.

Now let's have a look at Cable, riding his bike. The handles & foot pedal of the bike are flexible and can be adjusted to fit the figure.

More images of Cable.

It's a pity I don't have that much display space for my toys, especially the Marvel line. I believe this is one common dilemma that many hardcore toy collectors encounter. Hence, I'm reserving my shelf space for my Transformers.

METAL MONUMENT MEGATRON

From the Metal Monument toy line of Transformers, today let's take a closer look at Megatron. If I remembered correctly, I purchased this cool paperweight at a fantastic deal in one of my trips to Singapore.

The Megatron used for this Metal Monument line comes from the Beast Wars series. Those of you that recall my previous post of the Metal Monument Convoy would know that I'm not a fan of the Beast Wars series.

Just like Convoy, Metal Monument Megatron comes with an interchangeable head. One of it shows Megatron's face, while the others bears the mutant face.

At the bottom of the feet, Megatron stands on the Predacon emblem. I believe it's not easy to obtain the both of the Metal Monuments because they were produced in limited quantities & they don't come cheap. Just check out the current market prices on eBay.

In case you're curious, I got hold of this in Singapore for SGD10, at a flea market in MISB condition.

CRIPPLER

This ugly creature goes by the name of Crippler, from my collection of Mutant Earth series.

The first thing that comes to mind about this creature is Hellraiser. Crippler comes with two weapons, a huge hammer & a laser blaster.

While holding the hammer at the front, the blaster can be clipped onto the back of the figure.

Some addition shots of Crippler holding up the hammer, just about to smash something.

By holding both weapons in front, this actually helps in balancing the figure from falling to the back.

There  is a certain amount of articulation that you can go about with Crippler, but just be careful as the figure may topple if not balanced properly.

CHOCOBO

Hello readers, Happy New Year to all!

Let's take a look at something adorable for the start of the New Year. This is a Chocobo coin box. Most of you should know by now that this cute fluffy chicken comes from the Final Fantasy game series.

This is the pullout that shows other different types of coin boxes available. There is the Mog, Wizard, Troll & another version of Chocobo.

This is how the Chocobo I have looks like out of the container. It sure does look adorable.

The figure stands at just under 8cm in height and is fully made out of soft plastic. Lastly, there is a lid at the bottom of the feet for you to pull out your coins.
