FIRST EDITION ARCEE

Today, we're going to take a look at First Edition (FE) Arcee from the Transformers Prime series. Although only a deluxe class, this bot packs a bit more of a challenge as compared to the previous Dark of The Moon movie line.

As you can see, here's some different angles of Arcee with her blades attached on the lower arm.

There are a couple of interesting things about this toy line that I'd like to share. When I initially started to collect this series, I didn't realize that there were going to come out with a few variants for each figure. Each of these variants has either a different form of transformation, or they came with a different weapon.

Things were starting to get a bit more confusing, so I started to do some research before buying anymore Prime figures.

Here, on the left we have First Edition (FE) Arcee, while we have the japanese AM-11 Arcee. The right mold is very similar to Hasbro's normal version of Arcee from the same Transformers Prime series. The only difference is that the Hasbro version doesn't have connecting pegs & holes to attach the Arms Micron (AM). The other thing is that the Hasbro version comes with one of FE Arcee's blade & a long rifle while the Japanese AM-11 comes with an AM.

Various poses.

This is Arcee's vehicle mode.

The cool thing about this is that they both look fairly identical at one glance. As you can see, it was a tough choice choosing between them. The only solution is to just get hold of both!
