ARMS MICRON GASHAPON CAPSULES WAVE 2

Not many of us out there are lucky enough to get hold of this Transformers Prime Arms Micron Gashapon Capsules, Wave 2. When I got hold of these, my supplier passed me the advertising flyer that came with it as well.

Here's a closer look at the capsules. They comes in various colors & are identical in shape to the previous Volume 1 capsules.

Out of the capsules, I have to say that Takara has done a better job as compared to Volume 1. Here we have a couple of miniatures that are quite prominent. They are Megatron Cannon, Bulkhead Knuckle & Arcee Blade. The other two Microns that look like turtles are known as Dado 1 & Dado 2.

One thing unique about this collection that many people do not know about is that the turtles (Dado 1 & 2) are the rare lot, not the other three Microns. Hence, Dado 1 & 2 is a must have for any avid collector out there.

Here's a group photo of the Microns in their weapon mode before going into further details.

Now let's have a look at them individually:

1) Bulkhead Knuckle

In robot mode, this Micron is pretty identical to the actual Bulkhead.

This Micron transforms into a giant knuckle. The cool thing is that the knuckle can either be set as a right or left handed.

These are a couple of images in terms of size comparisons, and how the Micron looks being attached onto Bulkhead. The knuckle only looks good from certain angles while the rest of the time, it's actually quite hard to pose the knuckle.

2) Arcee Blade

Next, we have the Arcee Blade Micron. Altough the legs are pretty slim, the Micron actually stands quite well. The arms look funny as though the Micron's trying to pick a fight with you & there is hardly any articulation besides the torso.

With just a couple of simple steps, we now have the Arcee Blade.

Let's take a look at the size comparison & how the blade looks, fitted onto Arcee.

3) Megatron Cannon

Like the full scaled Megatron, this Micron also bear similarities.

All you have to do is to tuck the toes in and flip the arms forward to transform the Micron into the weapon mode.

This is how they both look like.

4) Dado 1

This turtle comes with a weird name and transforms into what seems like a shield.

5) Dado 2

The only difference between Dado 1 & 2 are the opposite colors.

Here's how the Dado Microns look like attached into Arcee.

I did some homework online and found out that the Microns from Wave 1 & 2 can actually combine to form unique weapons.

The first weapon combination I found is formed with Microns of Bulkhead, Optimus Prime & Bumblebee. From the image above, it's as though the knuckle is holding onto a crossbow blaster.

The next weapons is actually a combination between Zad, Gob & Dado. The three Microns combine into a huge blade that is fitting for a Decepticon to wield.

These Microns have been very fun & addictive to play with. They can be combined with other Microns to form custom weapons for your Transformers to look good on display.

KABAYA TRANSFORMERS COLLECTION

Here's just a short & random post of my current Transformers Kabaya Gum Candy collection to date. My Kabaya WFC Optimus Prime is sealed & tucked up somewhere. I'm just too lazy to dig for it & pose it together with these.

HARI KARI WITH DEMONIC SHIELD & SACRED SWORD

Back in my uni days in Australia, there were very few specialty toy stored. Being bored, on and off I'd pick up a couple of things from the local comic store.

Hence, one day I decided to pick this figurine up out of boredom. From the image above, you can see that the comic character & the toy figurine totally do not resemble.

In terms of paint job and toy mold, I'm sure other toy lines have seen far better days than this mold.

Here's other images of Hari Kari from different angles. The third image above is quite hilarious actually. The paint job is horrible to the extent that they did not finish painting the bikini bottom.

Over the years, the chest plate actually came off once. Hence I had to use some resin glue to attach it back onto the character.

This figure comes with two other accessories, the so called Demonic Shield & Sacred Sword.

Both weapons attach onto Hari Kari with ease. Besides moving both arms, there is nothing much you can do with this figure. Hence this figure will be tucked into the abyss of my cardboard boxes shortly.
